My Love Letter To Myself

The BMSC 21-Day Mental Health Challenge begins on December 1st and the first exercise is to write a love letter to yourself. This is my letter:

My Queen,

I wish I could say that I loved you the very, first time I laid eyes on you...but that wouldn’t be the truth. You were awkward, shy, strange and nerdy. But, as you grew into a woman, you blossomed and I discovered that you are so much more than that! You are beautiful, smart, strong and creative. Most of all, you are SPECIAL. And, I apologize for not being kinder to you...for not being patient with you...and for not giving you the respect you deserved over the years. I want you to know that I have always admired your tenacity and your courage to pursue your dreams. May God continue to bless you on your journey. You’re my best friend and I promise you, I’m never going to let you go!😘
